⊗ - THE ELDERLIN TRIBE
⊗ - "Alright, so, these folk are like, REALLY isolated from the rest of the world? which makes sense, honestly, they prefer themselves AND humans ARE kinda bigoted against literally fucking anything that isn't another human, even the effigies thread a fine line sometimes."
-> Folk with a LOT of fur around their body, think stuff like a cat (my precious little creatures)
|> The fur has one base color, and SOMETIMES changes to a darker or brighter shade of the base around the torso, below the knee (gradual transition here, though) and near the hands.
|> The fur length DOES recede (although not by TOO much, except in the face, where it does almost fully go away) in areas like the shin, hands or face.
-> Some have the distinct traits of effigies, too, which include the horns, exoskeletal hand-claws, shining eyes, skin (now fur) patterns, etc.
-> Extra traits like their tail emerge, while other traits like regular ears retreat.
|> The full list of traits DOES include hand anatomy (will either morph the shape of effigy claws a little OR make human hands a little more like paws, not fully though. Usually they do lose a finger tho. A tail (their length reaches arouuund the shoulder, some cases are longer or shorter. and, for last, altered ears, usually those take the shape similar to moth ears, but fluffy! They can be aimed back or facing the front, depending on the person's choice.
|> The rest of their overall anatomy stays the same.
-> Their overall build is nimble, but weak, making them faster than humans but notably weaker than them.
⊗ - "interesting think about these folk is that they're very feyblood-oriented - Most of their materials use feyiron, iron tools that are cast using feyblood in the cooling process, this feyblood itself is from a float spell, which means that the entire process is quite tiring, but worth it. Feyiron works as a catalyst for spellcasting, and will pretty much function as if it was your own body when you want to cast a spell, as long as you have direct contact with the tool. This can make really good staffs, shields, etc. The chargeup is a little longer on that, though. Apparently, most of them also have the ability to even ooze out a little bit of feyblood from their paws, which is fucking convenient because when I want to paint a rune i have to fucking PRICK MY FINGER to do it."
-> For my final note, its important to note their style. They don't wear clothes at all, since the fur completely seals the deal with heat retention, and if that won't work, they just use a feyheart core. Even though, most of them still use short poncho cloaks (that reach around the tummy) OR/AND shin-low skirts or stuff like belts around the waist to help stuff not look empty. Still, there's a lot of Enderlins that are fine being fully "naked" (i'm pretty sure they don't even have genitals??? which, yk what, i'm not gonna be the one to ask how they reproduce, but i saw children in their tribe? how the hell? would naked even apply as a term in this situation????? im confused..)
⊗ - "Ok, so, these are EXTREMELY fucking rare, extremely SPARSELY spread out over the globe and overall extremely reclusive to other species, why? because they apparently become like this in a REALLY fucekd up way. They told me the ritual uses some really fucked up runewarping and feyiron??? what does iron cast in feyblood have to do with becoming a enderlin??? man, they're confusing sometimes.

⊗ - "Had the privilege of visiting these folk, one of them offered to draw themselves in my book once they saw me a little unsatisfied with how i described their appearence. Appearience? appearance?? fey's blood im not spelling this right am i.
