Tear Integrity log 38 - Out of order.
"The portal is fully stitched, for now, a pressure spike in the cooling organ made some pipes burst, so we decided to fully close the portal for now. its weird, when it closes naturally, it just disapears and crystalizes, but when we use the stitchers for it, it doesnt disapear? it just leaves this glowing line of where it's tendrils and core were until it's reopened, it never sits right with me. I would also recommend easing the pressure on the stitchers once they're back in operation, they were starting to squeeze the tear so hard the tendrils were growing, if you somehow crush the core of something that shouldn't even be tangible in other circumstances, who knows what'll happen."
"The more annoying part of all of this is that the triangulator (no, not the mushroom, please stop joking about it.) had some lasting damage on the lower coolant lung because of the spike, so we'll need to repair that. Hopefully they can fix complex 9 and finally finish complex13, they started building that one months ago already. Seriously, what are we even triangulating? im the head mechanic of this project and i don't even know what THE machine is even for??"
